a quiet little faith.

"How vigilant we are! Determined not to live by faith if we can avoid it; all the day long on the alert, at night we unwillingly say our prayers and commit ourselves to uncertainties. So thoroughly and sincerely are we compelled to live, reverencing our life, and denying the possibility of change..." -Henry David Thoreau

"How priceless is your love, O God! your people take refuge under the shadow of your wings. They fest upon the abundance of your house; you give them drink from the river of your delights. For with you is the well of life, and in your light we see light." -Psalm 36:7-9

Show us your light Lord, your simple, devastating light. Let us abide your arms, your wings.

I keep almost leaving comments and then realize that I have nothing to add to that.

truth is just truth.
