The secret meanings of dreams.
I often have dreams where I'm in a bit of trouble, and the solution is a gun. However, I can't remember one single dream where the gun was fully functional. It either ends up being a toy, or a laughable BB-Gun, or there is no ammunition to be found.
Now, an expert dream-figure-outer might say this means I don't think, somewhere deep-down, that I have "what it takes." Well... I don't have a lot of self confidence sometimes...so sure...but I hope I can get that worked out soon because I could sure use the help dream-side.

Maybe it means that you shouldn't be playing with guns. :)
28 million years later. my dreams are always of various kinds of apocalypses or situations with kidnappers, robbers, or general no-good-doers. I have no gun, usually can't scream, or run, or hide properly. Does this mean I SHOULD have a gun?
It may mean you need to get a good nights sleep sometime soon.
Well, I firmly believe that you should have some symbol of utilitous violence at your disposal in such situations. A gun, an ax, a spear, a phaser...
good-nights-sleep.
What is this you speak?
Lately, mine usually consist of at least one of the following (if not all):
+apocalyptic situations (Melissa, remember that one time where we had almost the same dream about the weird colors in the sky??)
+marijuana (or at least a search for some)
+creepy coworkers that are having scandalous relations
+me running away from something or someone with someone else who isn't as good at getting away as I am but I'm too nice to leave them behind so we almost get caught like 9000 times
I think the Marijuana comes from watching Freaks and Geeks... the creepy coworkers come from watching the Office... I've always had dreams about running from things and helping someone... and the apocalypse is nigh (need I say more).
I don't think I've ever had a weapon in a dream - except I might have had one sword fight once. I'm generally a non-violence advocate and encourage talking your problems out, if at all possible.
nate, in situations involving zombies, its typically best to go with an ax. thats of course if the number of undead aren't completely overwhelming and axes never need reloading. also... turtle necks. it tickles the zombies noses when they go to bite and often times they'll just leave you alone if they see you wearing one.
... or maybe thats vampires, anyway..
Thanks for the tip Jason. I have recently added a pretty sweet ax to my Zombie-Preparedness-Kit (ZPK)
